Can you imagine everyday scenes being captured in a vibrant way and then viewing imaginative creatures that could be real. Such a display can be enjoyed in the show windows of the Blue Whole Gallery with the artwork of Lynne Armstrong and Steve Wry. Their work will bring a delight to the mind and a vision of living life on a timeless level starting on First Friday September 2, 2016 at the Gallery from 5 to 8 pm. Meet these artists and their artwork which challenge each of us to be creative in our lives.
Lynne Armstrong is a artist whose mediums include oil, watercolor, acrylic and clay. As a painter Lynne tries to instill in her artwork the elements of light, its movement and effect on forms in order to capture what is being viewed. A part of Lynne's efforts is to show reality in a re-imagined way and thus capture a personal view of life in a timeless way. That imagination can be seen in the following works.
