Don't Fool with Mother Nature!

On First Friday April 5th, 2019 from 5 to 8 pm the Blue Whole Gallery will feature the artwork of three artists, Lucinda Hayes and jewelers Macaria D. Patapoff & Kathy Schreiner. Their presentation will decorate the Gallery's windows with a stunning array of exciting art that will stimulate the senses and reveal the patterns and designs found in precious stones in elegant settings. Such an array of art will tempt any on-looker who visits the Gallery during First Friday Art walk! Descriptions and examples follow.

"Haze Daz"by Lucinda Hayes

Lucinda Hayes works primarily in watercolor and her artistry captures life's enthusiasm and deep emotions. Her art presents itself as an adventure with a personality all of its own.

Using vibrant colors and soft tones, with dramatic lighting, Lucinda tries to tell a story with each work. Her art reveals nature's elements as well as its visual aspects that tells the viewer a story within the images shown. Examples follow:
